Autonomous Breathing Devices, also referred as SCBA, are used for fireman in firefighting, when the air is polluted or in situations where the oxygen existence is reduce.

The using time of these equipments is longer than the using time of Emergency Breathing Devices, providing continuous breathable air to the user for a period of 62 minutes (depending on chosen model).

SCBAs should be stored in places where temperature is average, out of direct sunlight, protected from heat, moist or chemical and corrosive products. In case of device transportation, the air cylindrical bottle should be protected from possible shocks.

SCBAs characteristics (it can change throw the chosen model):

• Resistant to extreme temperatures and conditions • Equipment designed for ling utilizations • Neoprene or silicon masks • Mask visor made of rigid, scratch-resistant polycarbonate and with a wide visibility • Air cylindrical bottle of 6,8 liters with compressed air, 300 bar • The supplied air system does not have contact with exterior air • Operating time: 62 minutes, when using a 6,8 liters bottle, with 300 bar • Bottle weight: About 11 kg • Equipment weight (with bottle): 15 kg • The equipment weight will be distributed by the column, offering to the user a higher comfort
